Sedation
Throughout the procedure you will be monitored carefully. More medications can be given if needed, to improve your comfort. Medications called reversal agents can be given quickly if you experience any adverse effects. Your colonoscopy team will do everything they can to make the procedure comfortable for you within the safe limits of the medications. Ask your doctor if you have any questions about sedation. |
