Were you nervous about having a colonoscopy?
 

I was nervous about having the procedure done. I tend to be a little phobic of hospitals and medical procedures and have never had anything done like this before. So even though I had materials from the doctor to help me ease my nervousness, I was still fairly anxious.

I don't know if nervous is the word. It's just an uncomfortable thing. It's not very pleasant so we kind of dread it a little bit.

Initially I was a little hesitant, but I knew that I needed to get it done just to find out. I wanted to know what's happening inside me. You know? What's going on?

I can honestly say, yeah, I had a little anxiety. I think that people going into the procedure that don't have some anxiety are either kidding themselves or in a little state of denial.
