Findings
During
the procedure, your physician may identify conditions called "findings"
that vary in their importance. Based on your age, certain findings
are so common that they are almost expected and may be of no significance.
Some findings may result in a follow-up examination by colonoscopy.
Colonoscopy can examine the latter two-thirds of your colon while
removing possibly cancerous growths at the same time.
Endoscopic findings during flex sig can be broken down into four main
categories: Growths & Tumors, Inflammation, Abnormal Blood Vessels,
and Variations of Normal Anatomy. |
