CEMM.org CEMM - Your Guide to Colonoscopy and Sigmoidoscopy

Testimonials

Would you be inclined to repeat the procedure as part of a long-term plan to screen for cancer?

I had cancer nearly seven years ago and I have had the procedure I believe, five times since then.
Every year up until this very year, they have had to take and remove polyps. They've also removed some lesions that could have very well been cancer. That is the reason I follow it every year.
With my family history of colon cancer, I will absolutely have the procedure done again. There's no doubt about it.
